The Coughlin twins inspired this blog. I guess I felt compelled to start writing about this crazy adventure when we found out we were having two! We enjoyed six wonderful months with our boys, Judah and Baylor, while I carried them around in my belly. They met Jesus on the day they were born. September 1, 2011 changed our lives forever. Many of these posts are centered on our grief journey–our faith journey–and the God who never lets us go. For “my flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

 

So that explains the blog title, and “other family adventures” sums up the rest. Life with Shane makes everything an adventure! Despite all that I put him through (ha!), he is still the happiest, most loving, and optimistic man I know!  Goodness gracious, he’s got my whole heart.

 

In recent times, we’ve welcomed baby Samuel home through the miracle that is adoption! He has brought so much joy and healing to our hearts. He is certainly the sweetest baby in the whole world. We look forward to welcoming baby 4 in a few months.
